The 9U Minot Aces season comes to an end after a late rally against the 9U Fargo 61s comes up short. While they may not have accomplished their ultimate goal, there is nothing to hang their heads about. The kids worked hard and got better every day. A huge thank you goes to head coach Fred Nelson and assistant coaches Jordan Kelly and Tj Stewart for investing so much time and energy into helping these kids become better ballplayers.

9U State Tournament play continues at Jack Hoeven Park with the last games starting at 6:00pm. The Prairie Sky Breads Airstream is on-site until 6:30pm with good eats and delicious iced drinks.

Day 2 of the ND 9yo State Tournament comes to an end. After the games, the players participated in a skills challenge and enjoyed some signature GALACTICS from Planet Pizza, sponsored by First Western Bank. The competition ended after a dramatic Home Run Derby that lasted three extra rounds.

Congratulations to the winners of our skills challenges and thank you to MCYB Alum Kellen Burke for presenting the championship rings. Shoutout to the recipients of the Player of the Game pins, sponsored by SRT Communications and Minot State University. (photos included in this post)

Day 3 starts at 9:00 AM tomorrow with your hometown Minot Aces taking on Fargo 61s at Jack Hoeven Park.

Day 2 of the ND 9yo State Tournament is here and we are excited to have the Prairie Sky Breads Minot Airstream here today from 9:00am - 5:30pm and Saturday from 1:00pm - 6:30pm.

Baseball + made-from-scratch cinnamon roll + cold brew coffee = perfection.

Games start at 10:00am and your hometown Minot Aces play at 2:30pm. Good luck to all our Magic City Youth Baseball teams playing throughout the state today!

Day 1 of the ND 9yo State Baseball Tournament is in the books! It ended with a memorable opening ceremony featuring the anthem sung by Ackenna from the Cherry Cherries, flags presented by members of the Color Guard, a missile of a first pitch from Brad Thomas, and countless smiles from happy young ballplayers.

After each game, one player from each team was honored by receiving a Player of the Game pin sponsored by SRT Communications and Minot State University. (click through all the photos to see the recipients)

Day 2 starts Friday at 10:00 AM at Jack Hoeven Park. Come cheer on your 9yo Minot Aces when they take on Williston at 2:30 PM.

Thanks to the generous support of SRT Communications and Minot State University, one player from each team will receive a Player of the Game pin after every game. Recipients will be selected by their coaches.
