Nov 3, 2025 - It's official! We are retiring from putting up our Christmas display. Our health issues have been resolved but the thought of taking the decorations down in that bitter January weather is just too much for these old bones! We have truly enjoyed sharing our holiday magic with you. It warms our hearts to hear stories of how our light show has become a treasured part of your family traditions for so many years. We thank YOU for the many wonderful memories you have given us! We hope you have a great holiday season and a very Merry Christmas! Barry and Judy Olson

UPDATE Nov 8, 2023.
We are sad to say we aren't able to put up our display this year. Our house and garages were supposed to get re-sided in September but the dates kept getting pushed back, with the latest "firm" date of around Nov 13. This gives us no time to work with, even if it holds and the good weather continues. On the bright side, there's still lots of great Christmas lights in town, especially the amazing display our friends Chris and Dotty Zablotney put on at 1224 6th St SW. Hope to see you back at our newly sided house for our 2024 Christmas display! Happy holidays!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! New Year's Eve is the last night our animated light display will be on. We've definitely had some challenges this year, but hope you enjoyed the show! May your 2023 be filled with love, laughter and good health!

Happy Thanksgiving! Our Christmas light display will be on tonight through New Year's from 5-10p. We still have a few things to finish like the big trees along the main road, which should be done in the next few days. Hope you enjoy!!!

Tonight should be better for viewing our display, as we have dug out the decorations and cleared our immediate road. Not sure about 16th St SW, but it's been cleared from the Extension Service Building off Hwy 83 to our road. We still had some die-hard visitors last night! New Year's Eve will be our last night to have them on. Stay safe and warm! Happy Holidays!
