Membership is open to residents, property owners, and friends of Blue Lake. The Association's mission is to foster a community of awareness and address issues pertaining to the natural health and sustainability of Blue Lake and its surrounding ar

An elected Board of Directors administers and appropriates funds from membership dues and donations to support and promote the health and protection of Blue Lake, its natural resources, and wildlife for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors. About Blue Lake: Located just outside of Minocqua in northern Wisconsin, Blue Lake is a 458 acre private lake known for its clear water, beautiful scenery, and abundant wildlife including loons, bald eagles, owls, herons, bears, and more. Its residents and visitors enjoy fishing, watersports, boating, and snowsports.

The milfoil is blooming! You can spot large patches with flowers/seedheads peeking above the surface. The good news is that it rarely propagates via seed. As we know, this wretched aquatic invader spreads primarily by plant fragmentation.

Due to an issue with last Friday's milfoil harvest, Kari Anne Cole has let us know that APM is going to complete an additional day of harvesting at no cost this Thursday, July 30th.

We need volunteers in kayaks on short notice - please consider signing up to assist, if you are at the lake this week.

We were so sad to have received the news that Ron Holmberg has passed away. Ron and his family were long time Blue Lake residents where Ron served on the BLPA board for many years. His dear wife, Cynthia, is the author of the much beloved book, Blue Lake Lore. You will find Ron's obituary at the link to our website.
