Women of Song

Women of Song We are a community choir providing lifelong singing and travel opportunities for women of all ages. If you are interested in auditioning, please message us!

Women of Song seeks to provide free will offering concerts whenever possible. Our concerts have included performances at the Minneapolis Veterans Home, Fort Snelling Chapel, Special Olympics, senior centers, Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Holidazzle, and professional sporting arenas. ong has achieved a broadening of our members’ horizons and understanding of the world by participating in choral festivals and competitions in the United States, Salzburg and Vienna, Austria, and Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Carole Birch, former director (1986-2014) and the founder of the Wayzata Women’s Chorus. Under Carole’s expert direction our choir grew and evolved from a small community choir to a more professional ensemble performing both nationally and internationally. We have so many wonderful memories of the early years and the many performances during Carole’s tenure.
