Be among the first to hear the brand new play 'The Pasture' written by by ashley sparks and Mark Valdez (mark-n-sparks). This is a satirical look at the shenanigans surrounding efforts to create affordable housing in an under-used church, and the community drama that arises.

There is still time to join us for an Equitable Dinner. This upcoming performance is hosted by St. Mark’s Cathedral by Loring Park.

Mon, June 22 @ 6pm St. Mark’s Cathedral, Loring Park, Mpls

Each Equitable Dinner event consists of two acts:

Act One is the performance of a new play: ‘Water’s Pull’ written by J. Isabel Salazar and performed by Michelle de Joya.

After the performance, we’ll take a short break, and then sit at tables for Act Two which will consist of dinner, an activity, and discussion.

Celebrate Juneteenth with a Story Circle!

This Juneteenth (June 19th) Mixed Blood is partnering with various neighborhoods and organizations to host the community aftercare practice of story circles!

Story Circles community story sharing was created by the Free Southern Theatre. They can help us process emotions, heal trauma, reduce anxiety, and deepen the feeling of belonging.

We are also offering Story Circle Training. So you can learn this practice and bring it to your community. Reach out to learn more!!
