Good morning Southside Aces fans. We are just one month away from the release of our first vinyl record, The Big Beat! July 16th at the Dakota. This Friday check out the spinning of the test pressing on Side B, Track One, "Do What Ory Say," featuring our trombonist, Eric Johnson. Mark your calendars, FUNK FRIDAY is coming to the Dakota on Friday, July 17th!

The house band is full of incredible musicians, including Tommy Barbarella (Prince, Jonas Brothers) Joe Finger (Boz Scaggs) Joe Elliott (David Sanborn) Jason Peterson DeLaire (Michael Bolton, Jam & Lewis) and me!

Special guests include legendary percussionist Lenny Castro (Toto, Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, Clapton), Grammy Award winning drummer Robert "Sput" Searight (Ghostnote, Snarky Puppy, Toto) and Roger Smith, former organist with Tower of Power of 27 years.

This performance is presented in support of Free Guitars 4 Kids, helping provide instruments and access to music education for young musicians.
