"Fresh Baked" Artist Spotlight: Nic Lincoln
A choreographer whose career spans stages across the country, with a significant chapter spent at James Sewell Ballet in Minneapolis.
Known for challenging, nonlinear choreography, Nic has been recognized as one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” and named among MN Monthly’s “Artists We Love.” His work has been supported by major commissions and honors, including the McKnight Artist Fellowship for Dance.
We’re excited to see how his sharp, investigative approach unfolds under the pressure of a 24-hour creation window.

"FRESH BAKED" Artist Spotlight SUSANA di PALMA began dancing at the age of five and has spent decades working between worlds—living and performing in Spain with renowned flamenco companies and tablaos, and shaping the Minneapolis dance landscape.

In 1982, she founded Zorongo Flamenco Dance Theater, creating over 27 original works that merge flamenco and theater to reflect urgent, universal human stories. While no longer Zorongo’s Artistic Director, Susana continues to teach and create with the same depth and curiosity that have defined her career.

Her voice brings history, rigor, and emotional clarity to the Fresh Baked challenge.
