Mahogany Studios I am a MINNEAPOLIS based artist specializing in watercolor and oil paintings of landscapes, seascapes and figures.

Additionally, I am a co-op member of Traffic Zone Center for the Arts and my studio is located in the historic warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis. I've been painting professionally for more than 20 years and teach watercolor for beginners. I've traveled extensively and the inspiration for some of my paintings are reflective of those travels as well as events and observations of every day o

ccurrences. In producing my paintings I attempt to convey an emotion more than a photographic rendering would. My images have been exhibited in Bangkok, Thailand , Mexico and throughout the United States, winning numerous awards in Juried Exhibitions. Many of my paintings are owned by PRIVATE collectors in southern California, Seattle, Washington, Austin, Texas, and in the permanent collections of the Minneapolis Library . I've studied at the Minneapolis College of Arts and Design as well as the Edina, MN Art Center. Additionally, I've studied and painted with one of Northern Mexico's master muralist, Moreno and portrait artist Guillermo Kelly while living in Mexico .
