Please continue to pray for Ukraine
Our dear friend, Vitaliy Bolgar, conducts the united children's choir in "Nam potribne myrne nebo" (We need a peaceful sky!) in for the Ukrainian National Day of Prayer in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2018.
The words roughly mean: The letters (cries, prayers) rise to the heavens as they hear the prayers of the mothers, praying for peace in their land. In the golden fields, the world was suddenly overtaken by evil. Children became adults before they should have because war suddenly broke out.
Chorus: We need a peaceful sky! A sky that is blue and full of light! We need peace today!
And each hero is also a warrior. They are fathers, sons living in the darkness of night. They do not know sleep or peace, but only have questions (about why all of this is happening).
How much do tears cost? Do you know the value of life? What are the reasons that a mother will suddenly be childless?
Give me your hand, because together we are strong! Let our hearts burn! This is OUR future, this is OUR country, she lives in our souls!
We are free--that is our destiny! We have our own right (truth)! We will never live in captivity! We are a strong, united family!
Whether you are Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian, German, Polish, Armenian, or Jewish, you are part of our family! Ukraine is one nation for all people!
We have one Ukraine. We are united in this country! God save Ukraine!
I want peace! I don't want to hear the word "war." I don't want to see my mother's tears!
