Gt Artistry is a NE Minneapolis gallery/studio/event space and production house.

GT Artistry was created in 2009 by Gerry Timm, a long-time Minneapolis resident arts connoisseur and dance enthusiast. t formed after he attended a few dance labs at Bryant Lake Bowl Theater. Following a well-received debut dance performance at the 2013 MN Fringe Festival, an event Timm would often frequent in the past as a spectator, and some advice of several local dance community icons, Gerry began to immerse himself further into the local arts scene. A studio was acquired in NE Minneapolis to accommodate rehearsals for ensuing GT productions and to offer the community a unique rental space for artists to use as a rehearsal space, gallery, or performance venue at an affordable rate. Gerry’s creative journey would seemingly culminate around creating and starring in the modern dance collaboration and GT Artistry production “PIE EQUALS SQUARE,” performed at the Crane Theater in Minneapolis and run over nine days at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018. While a lot of the creative focus at GT Artistry has shifted to visual media, and the production of a documentary series about local Twin Cities’ craft breweries called “The Craft,” Gerry’s passion for dance is still brewing.

Our own Hans Kruger Will have his composition “KOOKOO4U” featured as part of JSB’s New Works presentation at O’Shaunessy Theatre March 11 and 12th!!! Hans scored this composition to existing choreographed movement by stripping the sound from a video recording of the original piece.

Everyone we’d like to introduce and welcome Jada Rae Ames, the newest member of the GT Artistry team! Jada is a jewelry maker (amongst many other things) and has been working on these, and other unique creations at the studio for the past few weeks! She brings multitude of talents to the table and we can’t wait to see what is to come!
