Bruce Springsteen joins Clarence Clemons at Tradewinds in Sea Bright, New Jersey on June 28, 1993 for an unforgettable performance of “Glory Days.”

Bruce made a surprise appearance during Clarence’s show, treating the packed crowd to more than 30 minutes on stage.

Tradewinds, located just down the road from Donovan's Reef, was one of the Shore’s legendary live music venues before it was replaced by luxury townhomes.

Bruce Springsteen at Donovan’s Reef Sea Bright, New Jersey, Labor Day September 3, 2001 (just eight days before 9/11)

Bruce and Patti Scialfa were members of a nearby Sea Bright swim club and made their way down the beach (Donovan’s Reef was later destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and rebuilt). An unannounced appearance with house band Brian Kirk & The Jirks.

A true Jersey Shore surprise right at the edge of a moment that would change everything just days later.
