Looks like some kids will be making art based on my 'Klompenboot' sculpture which is loosely based on the poem "Wynken Blynken and Nod".
Also checkout my friends Jon Kamrath (Among the Reeds II) and Sunghee Min's (Triangle Play) sculptures.

Fergus Falls, MN – The 2nd Annual Downtown Fergus Falls Sculpture Walk Opening Celebration is Saturday, May 30 from 1-3 p.m. at the Senior Center.
Sculpture Walk Manager Naomi Schliesman says, “This event is more than an art tour, it’s an opportunity to gather together, explore downtown through creativity, and experience how public art can spark imagination for all ages.”
Schliesman will be giving a guided tour at 1:30 p.m. to each sculpture installation, sharing the stories and inspiration behind the artists’ work along the way. There will also be a fun, hands-on activity at Otter Cove Children’s Museum where kids can create and race their own boats inspired by Kyle Fokken’s sculptures in front of Otter Cove.
The following artists and pieces are part of the 2026 sculpture walk:
Sunghee Min (Roseville, MN) – Triangle Play
Tim Nelsen (Bemidji, MN) – Mycology Manor
Michael Pettit (Dent, MN) – Loon Leaving Itasca
Kyle Fokken (Minneapolis, MN) – Klompenboot
Desiree Sky Logan (Fergus Falls, MN) – Riley the River Otter
Tim James (Good Thunder, MN) – Yosemite
Jon Kamrath (Mahtomedi, MN) – Among the Reeds II
The selected sculptures were chosen by the Fergus Falls Public Arts Commission and are for sale by the artists. In addition to these temporary installed sculptures, the Fergus Falls Sculpture Walk features numerous public art pieces that are part of Fergus Falls’ permanent collection, offering a rich and diverse experience for art enthusiasts.
