Happy Tuesday everyone, Greg here, I just wanted to come on and make a quick announcement. First of all I wanna take a moment and thank everyone that has supported City of Lakes AAG over the past couple years. Thank you to my very first court Wesley Mills and Decreme and thank you to the reigning court Cherry Peaks, John E. Lambert-Roberts, Cipher Von Ives and everyone that has came to run for the prelims, City of Lakes would not be what it is without you all. Means the world to me that you wanted to represent City of Lakes at the National AAG Pageant. I have made the decision to not return next year as an AAG promoter. At this point in my life there are other things I need to focus on and get in line before taking on the challenge of being a promoter again. I came in this with a love of drag and also the pageant system but got in over my head and feel I have not been the promoter that the court deserves and because of that I need to step away. I have met some amazing people along the way and hope secured some friendships also. Being the quiet person that I am I was also hoping this would pull me out of my shells but unfortunately I have just put myself in stressful situations and when it comes to prepping for a pageant, I don’t want my stress to slip over on my court.

From here going forward I am focusing on me and fixing what I have screwed up and working to build our company Butta Popcorn. I still would like to be part of AAG in the future and help in anyway that I can and also offer up Butta Popcorn to anyone looking to raise money for either a prelim or the national pageant. We have different options that can help you and wanna be able to help you. I would like to also maybe become a sponsor for AAG so Butta Popcorn can be a partner.

Wow! What a night we had last night!

Last night was definitely a prelim for the books. With 9 total contestants running for all 3 divisions, we had a pageant. Everything single contestant that stepped onto the stage brought their game and every single one do absolutely amazing. We are so proud of you all and honored that you choose City of Lakes as your chosen prelim. You all are going to be the force of City at the AAG national pageant.

Congratulations to the following winners in each category,
Goddess Winner - Cherry Peaks
Goddes 1st Atl - Chachi Monique Cassadine

At-Large Winner - Juiccy Misdemeanor
At-Large 1st Alt - Crystal C. Belle

Gent Winner - Cipher Von Ives

All 9 contestants received their tickets to nationals, we are proud of you all!

To our court that stepped down last night, Wesley Mills and Dee DeCrème Jackson, you are the first and the head of the City of Lakes Family. You represent everything we stand for. We could not have asked for a better court to head our family and we are honored to have had you both as our first. We could not have done this without you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

To our amazing judges panel, you all had your work cut out and did absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a group of people to make the deciding facts of this pageant.

To LUSH Lounge & Theater, thank you for giving us the safe space to put on our pageant. You and your hard working staff is to notch and we thank you for giving us the opportunity and space.

Finally to the people that walked through the door to watch and cheer, thank you.
