Festival Palomino is an outdoor music festival curated by Trampled By Turtles, and was recently relocated to Hall’s Island in Minneapolis, MN. Both the inaugural year of 2014, and the follow-up of 2015 boasted nine bands on two stages; while 2016 nearly doubled in size to feature seventeen bands on three stages. The 2016 lineup includes The Arcs, Andrew Bird, Jake Bugg, Houndmouth, Frightened Rabbit, Elephant Revival, The Cactus Blossoms, Margaret Glaspy, Aubrie Sellers, Frankie Lee, The Brothers Comatose, The Devil’s Flying Machine ft. In two short years, Festival Palomino has grown to include a diverse roster of up-and-coming and well-established Americana, Alt Country, Blues-influenced Soul, and Indie Rock acts. 2015 saw a total attendance of over 10,000 music fans from all over the Midwest. The one-day event features three stages of music, craft beers, food trucks, and an artist village, all conveniently located near downtown Minneapolis at Hall’s Island. Created in 2014, Festival Palomino is produced by First Avenue, Thirty Tigers, and Rose Presents.
