The Halloween season is the perfect time of year for escape rooms -- locked in a room, time counting down, no way out!
(...for legal reasons, there is always a way out...)

Let's look at some of our favorite options for this horror-filled season from us AND our local escape room friends at other locations!

Starting off strong, our scariest option on the list, we have "Nightmare at the Museum" with our friends over at Puzzleworks ( ) -- they're over in St. Paul in the same building as Can Can Wonderland ( ). This is a great option for adults to play Halloween night for a wonderful fright!

Second on our list, we have the Cursed Carnival over at Lock And Key ( ) -- they are situated lovingly in the Southdale mall. Head to the basements...
This room is more on the creepy than the scary side with wonderful reveals and terrible twists and turns to keep you on your toes.

Next up, we have The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe ( ). Over at our sister location, The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe, check out one of their Fieldwork Investigations -- A Fatal Claw. Ever since The Talon of Fortune was brought into the Lodge, strange things have been happening. We suspect that there may be one or more spirits tied to this macabre object. Investigate the history of this fatal claw and discover how to put these spirits to rest!

And, of course, this list would be incomplete without our very own, family-friendly and just a little scary, Nutcracker Nightmare over in Saint Paul, perfect for children who are old enough to enjoy Coraline, and adults who enjoy that Halloween touch!
The Rat King of Halloweentown has stolen The North Pole in a jealous rage: it's up to your group of Holiday Heroes to take the stage! The Nutcracker Quartet of Christmasland needs your help to restore the North Pole back to their care: but be careful along the way, you might be in for a scare!

The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe ( ) is cooking up some frightful delicacies this October!

Here's a list of some of their special Halloween-Themed events:

October 10th (4:00 PM Start Time) -- Join Chaos & Quirk, Mx. Cassandra Snow, and more local tarot/oracle/palm readers to learn more about yourself and potentially your future! This event starts at 4:00 and will continue until our "spirits" need to rest (midnight at the latest).

October 14th (6:30 PM Start Time) -- Blood on the Clocktower! A social deduction game with more complicated mechanics than your average game of Werewolf. Multiple groups will be starting throughout the night so there's plenty of time to jump in and see if you're Team Good or Team Evil.

October 17th (8:00 PM - Midnight) -- SCARY-OKE! Stop by the Hourglass Bar & Cafe and sing your heart, kidneys, and liver out. I Put A Spell On You and now you're miiiiiiinnnnnneeeeeee (or at least until it's your turn to take the mic).

October 21st (6:30 PM Start Time) -- Blood on the Clocktower! Did you miss it the first time? We're giving you one more chance to try this game out!

October 24th (Arrival and party time at 7:00 PM, Judging starts at 8:00 PM) -- Costume Contest! Multiple categories, multiple winners, multiple prizes! Bring your best cosplay, costumes, and more to show off to the Hourglass Bar & Cafe.

October 28th (CLOSING EARLY) -- We are closing down early for a private event around 3:00 PM!

October 29th (7:00 PM) -- Spooky Trivia! Like our Infinite Quiz but 10% more jumpscares. Okay, maybe no jumpscares... maybe one jumpscare... we'll see.

October 31st (CLOSING EARLY) -- We are closing down early Halloween night over at The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe... because we're hosting a Halloween Night Wedding! Rooms will be finishing up around 3:00 PM to give us time to get ready.

On October 7th, join fellow puzzlers over at The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe for a casual puzzling experience and puzzle happy hour from 6:00 - 7:00 PM.

For those of you that bought tickets to compete, the speed jigsaw puzzle competition starts at 7:00 PM. The competition is fully booked, but you are welcome to get some food & drinks and watch this highly anticipated sporting event!

Your kid's soccer team just won playoffs and wants to celebrate, but sixteen kids in one escape room is just a few too many?
You need to find a way to keep thirty or more people entertained next month for the office outting?

Call or email either of our St. Paul or Minneapolis locations to ask about large group bookings (any group with 10+ players!) to see if we have availability to book you for multiple rooms starting at the same time.

Steal Back the Stolen Painting!

The eccentric billionaire Stephen Pillager has stolen a priceless painting from one of our agency's contacts yet again. As Trapped's elite extraction & escape team, it’s up to you to infiltrate his private art gallery, deactivate his security system, and retrieve the prized possession! Discretion, critical thinking, and a bit of bravado are required for this mission, should you choose to accept it!

The Heist is a great room for puzzlers of all ages. This is our oldest room at Saint Paul, and as such has a more traditional "lock-and-key" feel to it.
