Raw Sugar Raw Sugar seeks to create an open space for uninhibited imagination to flourish.

Raw Sugar's three co-founders Rebekah Rentzel, Shawny Sena, and Jenny Moeller met while interning in at the regional theater in Portland, Maine in 2009. There, they developed their own fun, physical storytelling style in the show "It's Only Funny to Us". When native Minneapolitian Jenny Moeller returned home after the internship, she lured the other two to the Twin Cities with the siren song of collaborative theater and friendship.

I've been a little quiet over here, and that's because I am super duper busy. But, I want to say a big congrats to all the MN Theater Awards Exceptional New Works honorees. What an amazing group to be a part of!

Thank you to all who braved the weird spwinter weather for The WTF Comedy Festival! We had so much fun laughing with you and at these wonderful new plays.
