Stars, stripes, layers, and a little image transfer magic. 🇺🇸✨

For this reel, Susan Clifton used the Gelli Arts® Stars & Stripes Image Transfer Pack along with flag-inspired stencils to build up a layered patriotic print. We love how the image transfers and stencil accents work together to create that imperfect, distressed, vintage feel.

🎨Process:
•In each layer use the Gelli Arts® registration tool to line up your print.
•Start with Red paint and use the flag in the Gelli Arts® transfer pack to do an imperfect transfer.
•Next, use Payne’s Grey (or dark blue) and use the stars in the Gelli Arts® transfer pack. This is slightly mess up the red layer but no worries, it will look nice and grungy.
•Use the stencil with the left corner rectangle and use a dark blue paint to fill the rectangle. Print over the first 2 layers.
•Final Detail: Use the stencil with the 13 stars and dab white paint through the stars.

🎨Materials
5x7 inch Gelli Arts® plate
Paint: Bright Red, Dark blue, I suggest Payne’s Grey and Titanium White
Gelli Arts® Brayer
Use a sponge tool to stencil the white stars.
