I had this kit printed for a year now, but didnt had time to work on it. This is an amazing pieces of Franky and Bride, created by Zez Studios last Halloween.
The basic colors are in, now time for details (which are many 🤪).

I had to redo this lady's skin tones a couple of times. Finally, I think I am happy with this. More adjustments will be made when I add hair and clothing.

I've got a really cool package in the mail (some time ago), so here is a small review.
Huge thank you to Brandon from Squadron for following up making a match to GK garage kits Flesh color. It was one of the most used shades that I was using. As you can see, it is a perfect match 😍
Also had a chance to test white primer. It sprays very nicely and dries pretty smoothly and strong.
I've been testing other colors as well, and I have to say, they work amazing. They need a little thinner, but other than that, they are very good addition to my color army 😁

I am almost done with Mad Hatter. Replaced resin cards with printed mini cards that I found at Hobby Lobby. They are almost the perfect size for this kit.

I finally decided to try using oils for my models (starting with washes). I must say that my biggest regret is why in the heck I didn't try it earlier 😁
Really love how the base turned out.

I finally have time to work on this super cool kit from Toon's studio. This guy has been staring at me for a while, judging me 😆
Lots of detailes and textures. Hopefully, I can bring all of my ideas to life.

I know that there were a lot of people supremely distressed when GKUS Creative stopped producing their paint line, me included. So when I won a set of Squadron's Flesh tones set and was told that it's designed to be similar to Gk's colors, I had to compare them side by side.
The squadron set included 3 base colors, 1 highlight, and 2 shaders. I used the paint directly from bottles without deluding it. The flow was nice, and it didn't clog or dry the on the tip of my airbrush. The color itself is more translucent than GK's (Jessie's paint has a more white base, almost like build-in primer). I was told that by adding Flow Control Agent, it makes the paints more translucent, more like semi-transparent version. The finish is slightly more silky than GK's, which is super flat.
The colors are not a 100% match, but unless you hold them side-by-side, it's a very close match.
I will definitely try this paint on one of my future projects, even if my favorite GK-353 Garage Kit Flesh is not matched 😁

We had a wonderful time at this year's Wonderfest. The hotel was done remodeling, the weather was great, and I picked up a few kits for my already large pile of stuff to do.
One of the highlights of the show was to see all of the Filmy's bust together complete.
