What is Absurdism? Absurdism is a form of humour predicated on deliberate violations of causal reasoning, producing events and behaviours that are obviously illogical. Constructions of surreal humour tend to involve bizarre juxtapositions, incongruity, non-sequiturs, irrational or absurd situations and expressions of nonsense.

Absurdity in art shows is an inverted and contradictory version of reality that juxtaposes multiple realities in order to invite people to look at life differently.

February. In the north, is the month for me in which I grow exceptionally weary of the cold. The days do start to become “longer” , but the oppressive bite of winter lingers in my mind and bones.

Only intensified in these pandemic ridden days. This and last year, I’ve found warmth and solace through a creative challenge, exercising my mind to remain open, trying out new things through an online collage community. Here is week one.
