See you Friday. 👋🏽 For our first ever race, we invite black runners to compete and the broader community to spectate, support; and celebrate blackness in sport with Cool Runnings, Black Men Run, and RunBlk.

➡️ Register to run, sign up to volunteer, pull up as a spectator & donate all at the link in the bio.

I don’t want to distill months worth of work into social media posts to be scrolled past, or pay to get our posts seen by the audience we’ve built and are trying to connect with. I’m proud of what I’m creating. Not much of it ends up here. Sign up for emails, sign up for snail mail.

Here is a look at something I made for the local library, alongside friend and collaborator, Jesse Meyer and illustrator Miami Park. Jessica Knighton beautifully captured the entire process — we’ll share more soon, but it doesn’t all end up on social media. 👋🏽 Jesse Meyer MeyerBuilt LLC Minneapolis Photographer

Running is not a prerequisite to attend any of our events, we’re excited to host our first race as a chance share what we thinking running should and could be; to completely create the culture that surrounds the sport and to share that with you. See you October 9th for our one mile race — just one mile, surrounded by your unconditional supporters at Cool Runnings.
