Coming to your first Toastmasters meeting can seem scary, especially if you have a fear of public speaking. (By the way, that's the reason most of us join, so you won't be alone!)

But you don't need to be scared to join us. We will invite you to quickly introduce yourself and join in with one of our practice exercises, but we will not pressure you! If you just want to come and see what it's like—and not speak—that is absolutely okay.
