From towering forest sentinels to intimate woodland paths, TREES: HOMAGE TO FOLIAGE celebrates the uplifting, life-sustaining, and elegant presence of trees. This exhibition explores the remarkable variety of forms, colors, and atmospheres found in landscapes throughout the changing seasons. The featured artists transport viewers to quiet glens, sprawling woodlands, and luminous canopies where light filters through leaves and branches, revealing the natural world’s enduring beauty and resilience. Whether depicting the grandeur of ancient trees or the fleeting brilliance of autumn foliage, each artist offers a unique perspective on one of nature’s most enduring subjects.

An opening reception for TREES: AN HOMAGE TO FOLIAGE will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. The exhibition will remain on view (Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00–5:00) through October 17, 2026.

Plein Air Paintings created by this year’s 11th Annual Groveland Gallery Plein Air SmackDown Groveland Gallery Featured Artists and members of Outdoor Painters of Minnesota are on view and for purchase through August 8th at Groveland Gallery.

Our picturesque neighborhood is delightfully captured within plein air paintings of Lake of the Isles, Seven Pools, Walker Sculpture Garden, Loring Park, Minneapolis Skyline, St. Mary’s Basilica and other beloved features!
