We want to support the art of crafting by providing a fun atmosphere for you to learn and create while socializing with others, and leave feeling completely inspired. Founders: Jessica Moriarty and Mollie Windmiller are the co-founders of LAB. Together, they offer the perfect combination of passion and skills to curate LAB MPLS. Mollie, president of Windmiller Design Group, has an unrivaled eye for design and branding. Jessica is the owner of Prime and Polish, the home décor boutique in Minneapolis. Mix Jessica’s knowledge of DIY projects, interior design and home décor with Mollie’s design expertise and enthusiasm, and we’ve got a duo that’s ready to conduct labs for all things creative!

We don’t build brands to chase a trend, but instead, to evolve alongside your business. With Psychomilf, that meant creating an identity as fluid and multidimensional as the people it’s made for.⁠

Visually, we leaned into contrast and confidence, pairing bold, saturated color palettes that shift with the mood, with playful yet intentional typography that doesn’t take itself too seriously. The logos, custom illustrations and patterns are meant to feel just as at home on a silk scarf as they do on a baseball cap. In storytelling, we developed a brand personality that embodies the “wink” to your wild side—smart, slightly irreverent, and always in style.⁠ ⁠

Today, LAB is 12 years old! 12 whole years of creating, connecting, and collaborating. At the heart of it all is this amazing community and incredible clients. We could not be more grateful for you! As I reflect on this last year, I want to honor and celebrate the amazing women at LAB.

This past year has been a big year for us to evolve not just as a business leaning into what is needed most for our clients, but also as individuals - doing big things to become the best versions of ourselves: taking on new skills, launching bigger things, navigating tough scenarios, pursuing our passions, and being able to support each other through it all. Because that is what a team is - that is what growing a business is - it’s the people who believe in the greater thing you want to do every day, and bring their passions and best skills to make it all happen.

I am beyond lucky to work with Emma Geary and Kate Brown every day. Thank you for your positive energy, ambition, and exceptional skills. You make work so much fun. And thank you to the crazy talented designers who help us bring so many creative projects to life. Tori, Natalie, Ashley, Leni, and Anna, I greatly admire you all for your unique talents.
