BIZLANG, my new collaboration with Christian Erickson, is a shared vocabulary of voice, loops, beats, synthesis, noise, patterns, math, oracles and vibes built over a year-long practice of duo improvisation.

We’re creating what we’ve been calling “ambient hooks,” set against improvised, ever-moving cycles and rhythms, blending the alone-a instrument with new instruments and signal processing flows in Abelton. Still rooted in the voice; but set on a grid.

Want to hear more? We’re playing our second-ever show this Wednesday, August 26, sharing a bill with Green Button, the duo project of May Klug and Jo Kellen, plus Paul Christian.
