There is a moral to this story...

In the last month, my dreams of running a private music venue, have gone from on the back burner for the last 3 years, to actually happening in the next month!

I share a recording/rehearsal studio with 3 other people in downtown Minneapolis. About 6 months ago we were notified that the building was being sold to a new owner. We started to go into panic mode because we have been occupying that space for 23 years now. There's a ton of stuff to move and it would be impossible to move it all in a weekend. So we started looking for other places in case we were told that we would have to leave.

We ended up finding a place that is almost the same size, only a mile north from where we were. On a whim it was decided that we were just going to jump. No better time than the present. So we have just signed the lease for the new space. We will be spending the next few weeks remodeling and moving into the new space on Washington Ave and Lowry St. It will have a full Anolog and Digital recording studio. It will also have a live performance area that can seat 50. Not only will we have access to a great recording studio, we will also have a place to perform and shoot intimate, live concerts.

A Perpetual Dream has become a REALITY!

The craziest part about all of this is the timing. In February I began recording a full band E.P. With Venus DeMars as the engineer and producer. We now have to put that project on hold for the next 6 weeks or so until we have a new studio to finish in.

I am so excited for all of the things that are about to bloom!

I've been in the music business for 25 years now and everything I have worked for is finally coming to fruition!
