Project Opera

Project Opera Imagine Opera is part of the Minnesota Opera that focuses on providing information about opera and its history to people young and old.

Past students are encouraged to stay connected to us through this page. Project Opera is a one-of-a-kind vocal training program for young singers ages 10-18 who reside in and around the Twin Cities metro area. The program provides weekly musical instruction and vocal training at the Minnesota Opera Center in downtown Minneapolis, MN. Part of the season is dedicated to learning and performing tradi

tional choral works, including oratorios and opera choruses. The second half of the season is spent preparing an age-appropriate opera which will be fully staged, costumed and performed at a local theater. Singers have access to discounted opera tickets and special opportunities to attend special Opera functions.
