🌼 ONLINE class at MCAD CE (link in bio) starting Wednesday June 17th at 6 p.m. — I’m teaching a Botanical Typography in Adobe Illustrator workshop at MCAD Continuing Ed! Content is expanded and updated and will cover 3 evening sessions, online through MCAD Continuing Ed. (Classes will be recorded and accessible for those who can’t make it live.)
The workshop is focused on botanical type styles, and creating original letters using botanical elements. To get there, we cover a lot of basics as well! The techniques explored are applicable to many styles of decorative type, from Victorian to midcentury modern, whimsical to elegant.
Format is a short lecture, followed by demonstrations and plenty of time for questions and feedback. Can’t attend live? No worries, a recording and workfiles will be available!
