My thoughts and prayers are with the families of Officer Paul Elmstrand, Officer Matthew Ruge, and Firefighter Adam Finseth. We must serve those who serve us and the families of the fallen. I serve on the board of directors for the Minnesota 100 club and on Monday we voted to approve financial contributions of $50,000 to each of the families.

This incident took place five minutes from my home. Stay strong stay in prayer.. We would not be able to do this without the help of our community, if you would like to help support our mission to provide emergency financial assistance to First Responders who are killed or critically injured in the line of duty. please consider visiting www.mn100club.org

Tonight, our Burnsville community came together to mourn and honor the sacrifice of Police Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth, who lost their lives in the line of duty. As a resident of Burnsville and a Board of Directors member for the Minnesota 100 Club, this tragedy deeply resonates with me. The Minnesota 100 Club plays a vital role in providing immediate financial assistance to the families of first responders who make the ultimate sacrifice. In light of tonight’s vigil and the palpable grief within our community, I am reaching out to ask for your support. A donation to the Minnesota 100 Club, no matter the size, can make a significant difference in the lives of the families affected by this tragedy. Your support will ensure that the bravery and sacrifice of Officers Elmstrand and Ruge, and Firefighter/Paramedic Finseth are honored, and their families are cared for during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for considering this request. Together, we can stand in solidarity with those who put their lives on the line to protect us, providing comfort and support to their families when they need it most.
