There is sadness in wrapping up this process, however we all feel that it is only the beginning of a new path forward in creating dance. Community-centered, collaborative, and thriving together. We can’t wait to see what more is to come ✨

Opening Night is Here.
Tonight, we open CONVERGE alongside Amez Dance and Analog Dance Works—a powerful evening of contemporary dance featuring three emerging companies, one shared cast, and a surge of movement that’s been months in the making.

Join us for a weekend of bold new work, rooted in collaboration and performed by an extraordinary group of Twin Cities artists.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION NOW OPEN 🌊

RJDT is holding its first ever summer intensive.
Technique. Rep. Creation. Drama.
10 dancers only.

From August 18-21st join us at our studio space in St Paul for 4 days of moving + making.

For the most immersive, whole experience, take the full intensive. Time, budget, or personal preference won’t allow for that? No problem, you can take just the REP track or the CREATE track. Here’s the breakdown:

10-11:30 technique with company dancers
11:30-12:30 company rep with
12:30-1 lunch break
1-3:30pm creation lab with

Early bird pricing: $350/full intensive, $180/half day

Colin Myles Edwards is teaching co class this week! Colin is a founding member of RJDT and is the founder of his own company . He integrates waving with contemporary techniques to create a unique style + voice. His recognizable gestures and flow combine to tell stories and express deeply through movement 〰️

Announcing CONVERGE, a brand new 3-company production, coming to the Twin Cities July 2025💥

Amez Dance, Analog Dance Works & Ruby Josephine Dance Theater are coming together to create new exciting works, spotlighting the next generation of dance companies and artists in the area. Community, connections, and opening up doors & perspectives are at the heart of this collaboration.
