Ready to try something a little different? š„
On Sunday, August 30 from 7-9pm Angel Nelson is bringing an Own It Chair Dance Experience to Phoenix Flight Studioāand this one is all about feeling good, having fun, and owning your confidence.
If youāve never tried chair dance before, this is a great place to start. If youāre already a dancer or love exploring sensual movement, youāll find plenty to challenge you, too.
So...what exactly happens in an Own It Experience?
This is a 2-hour, beginner-friendly chair dance workshop where youāll learn a longer choreographed piece step-by-step. Iāll break down the movements so everyone has a chance to learn them, and weāll have plenty of time to practice with the music so the choreography starts to feel natural in your bodyānot just something youāre trying to remember.
For more experienced dancers, Iāll also offer optional challenges and variations so you can take the movement further.
Weāll have time to mingle, take selfies, and settle into the fun, supportive energy of an Own It Experience. Once weāve learned the choreography, youāll have the opportunity to record a solo or small-group version while everyone cheers you on.
Weāll finish by slowing down for a moment to appreciate our bodies and celebrate what we just accomplished.

This is your chance to step into your confident, sensual self, whatever that looks like for you. Wearing something that makes you feel sexy, powerful, playful, or simply really good in your body is highly encouraged.
And unlike pole and aerial, you donāt need bare skin for grip or layers to protect your skin.
Bring water, come ready to move, and prepare to leave feeling a little stronger, a little more confident, and maybe a little more connected to your sexy side.
