A Paint Frame

Directions

A Paint Frame A tool to stretch fabric over which allows a person or people to paint that fabric with greater ease.

Some frames are static, while some have a counter weight system allowing the frame to be moved up and down. A story arose in my head as I was working for a Rental Drop Painting company. It is a Cinderella story of a girl, who trapped in society which devalued her because things she could not change about herself; her skin color her s*x, and her family situation. She found an alleyway out of the world of oppression and bigotry and into a world where Scenic Artists created amazing worlds on fabric the size of a Three Masted Ship's sail. She assists a Spaniard who has come to the US from northern Spain. Her Deck mate at the studio is a Lakota boy who escaped from the boarding school he was sent to.
