Thank you to everyone who joined us on June 11th for our Pop-Up Choir at Queermunity. We loved spending the evening learning and singing “Chosen Family” by Rina Sawayama and celebrating the power of music and community.

As always, a special thank you to Queermunity for hosting us and helping create such a welcoming space for singers to come together.

At our concerts, we like to recognize the singers who have been with us for 5 seasons with a special pin. In Season 8, the 5+ season veterans made up a quarter of the choir! We are so lucky to have them returning season after season, lending their voices to help make this community choir really sing.

That’s a wrap on Season 8!

From rehearsal laughs and behind-the-scenes moments to dress-up days, unforgettable concerts, and even the incredible honor of being invited to perform with DCINY at Carnegie Hall — what an amazing season it has been for the Morris Park Singers!

This season was filled with music, memories, friendship, and community, and we are beyond grateful for every singer, volunteer, audience member, donor, and supporter who helped make Season 8 so special.
