A City Council Committee voted 6-0 today to sell the Hollywood Theater to Andrew Volna. There were no public comments and the committee members expressed their gratitude toward Volna and his team. The full City Council will consider the sale on May 9.

Hear an update on the rehabilitation effort of the Hollywood Theater building. Attend the Audubon Neighborhood Association community meeting Monday, February 3 at 7pm at The Coffee Shop NE for a discussion on local developer Andrew Volna’s effort on a plan for the building.

The City extended Andrew Volna’s development rights to the Hollywood for six more months, as the original City Council action permitted. Volna and team have made important progress but need more time to finalize their proposal. They will engage with the community again as they advance. Stay tuned.
