Paper mushrooms… half studied half forged🪵✂️

Every paper mushroom I create has a story. Some are inspired by reference photos, but I also head out into the woods to investigate tiny details in the wild.

There’s nothing quite like capturing the magic of nature with paper. It is always challenging and always surprising to see how things turn out.

PAPER fall botanicals…Each paper piece is a tactile story of autumn‘s slow, beautiful unraveling, captured in earthy texture and faded hues.

Nature is dialing down the volume for those muted shades— making these in paper is a reminder that decay carries its own exquisite beauty.🍂✨

Making a PAPER dahlia! This is a little sassy Dahlia named “Pooh” (and yes, that’s its official name.)

One bloomed in the garden and my husband insisted I make a paper version for winter. Beautiful, dramatic and forever.✨
