It’s almost here! 🌳🎶

Dancing in the Park kicks off this Tuesday, June 9. This week’s dance is Contra Dance with caller David Kirchner and live music from Speed Dial.

No experience needed, and dancing is completely optional. Come dance, listen to the music, visit with friends, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

🪑 Bring a lawn chair or blanket and make a night of it!

☔ Rain or shine! If rain arrives, we’ll move indoors to the Wigington Pavilion. Events will only be canceled in the case of severe weather. If a dance night needs to be canceled due to weather, an announcement will be posted on our website and social media pages no later than 4:00 PM that day.

From free outdoor Dancing in the Park nights to new class series, family programming, and live music, there’s something for everyone this month. Whether you’re trying folk dance for the first time, bringing the kids, or reconnecting with your dance community, we can’t wait to welcome you.

Join us Sunday, May 31 at 7 PM for Ballroom Dance featuring Debbie O’Keefe & The Hot Toddies. Enjoy an energetic night of great music, social dancing, and a welcoming atmosphere for dancers of all experience levels.

“Waltzing is like spring. Did you see the new life?”
That’s how one of our dancers described Mostly Waltz, and it feels just right.

Once a month, our community gathers to move, connect, and enjoy the simple joy of dancing together. You might find friends catching up between dances, or someone discovering for the first time how different (and beautiful) waltzing feels.

Community Clean up Day is coming up!

Join us on Saturday, May 16 from 9am–3pm as we come together to care for our building . We’ll be cleaning, organizing, and getting Tapestry ready for the summer and all the events ahead.

Come for a couple of hours or stay the whole day. Whatever works for you. It’s a great way to connect, give back, and be part of the community that makes Tapestry what it is.

Lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there!
