It’s been awhile. I swear we’ll have some actual finished work to share soon, but for now we just wrapped another one and I wanted to highlight another one of our talented DP partners, Hmoob Lis (Neng Lee). Just watched this wonderful piece by Across The Mountains about one of our very first partners, RedGreen Rivers and the traditional practice of Hmong h**p making. As a Hmong-led studio, we are honored and proud to support KaYing and RGR in their mission. Caught up with our friend, Brooklyn-based Hmong artist and illustrator extraordinaire, Tou Yia Xiong, who made time to help us order some pastrami at Katz deli and gave us a personal showing of his work at Spongies Cafe in Chinatown.

Tou Yia’s a full-fledged New Yorker now and looking to put out more work this year. If you’re in the area this weekend, check out the “Together” art show Saturday, May 13th, from 12pm-4pm at Spongies Cafe in Chinatown for an artist meet-and-greet.

We wrapped our first official production! Thankful to partner with Pocket Hercules for a great shoot in NYC. It's only fitting because Pocket gave me my first professional opportunity as a young ad creative and have continued to support me after all these years.

Obvious post-shoot day priorities in NYC are pizza, pastrami and Chinese food! Looking forward to sharing more about this project soon.
