BUSINESS FOR SALE!! Prop Rental
For over 10 years, Prop It Up has served the Minnesota theater, photo/video and event communities with a large, eclectic mix of props & costumes. From antique furniture to vintage sporting goods and props for specific plays, like Little Shop of Horrors, Addams family, etc.
I purchased Prop It Up almost 5 years ago and now it is time to sell the business.
The full time job I started a couple years ago leaves me little time to dedicate to running Prop It Up. The time has come to let someone else have the opportunity. This would make a great addition to an existing business in a similar field—theater, events, costume rental,etc.
Another idea that has been floated around would be to form some sort of prop co-op, where members have access to the props they need.

Just spent the past week and a half moving my studio into the same location as my prop rental business. A lot of hard work and late nights, but it will make things easier in the long run to have both businesses in the same location.

PROP IT UP HAS MOVED!!
It’s official - Prop It Up has moved into a bigger & better warehouse!

Through blood, sweat, many bumps & bruises, (not to mention a split lip and almost losing a couple teeth) we managed to get thousands of items moved. Many of the items were big & heavy.

Special thanks to Jon Todd, Peter Seim, Tom Samlaska, Cheryl Stephani, Kathy Stephani and Laurie Hernandez for helping with the move! I couldn’t have done it without you!

• 6 loads in a 26ft truck
• 5 loads in a 17ft truck
• 3 loads in a 15ft truck
• Countless loads in my mini van
• Finally getting everything moved - PRICELESS!!

The new warehouse will allow us to be more organized and able to expand in the future. Not only does it have a loading dock, it also has a drive-in garage door, which makes it nicer for loading and unloading if it’s raining or snowing.

While it may take a while to get fully organized, we are open for business! Stay tuned for more exciting news in the next few months!
