ONCE Cast Spotlight
BLAIR KOTT, Baruska
Blair is a native of Hazel Green, WI, and is so pleased to be back in Platteville after a brief stint in the Twin Cities. She graduated from UW-Platteville in 2020 with a BA in theatre performance and design. You may recognize her from her roles as Lucy in “Bright Star”, Molly in “Peter and the Starcatcher”, and Mrs. Lovett in “Sweeney Todd.” Her regional performance credits include various roles in Fearless Five: Space! and Fearless Five: Music! as well as Double-Blind Improv with Strike theatre. ONCE runs July 29, 30, August 5, and 6 at 7:30pm and July 31 and August 7 at 2:00pm in the Center for the Arts Brodbeck Concert Hall on the campus of UW-Platteville. On the streets of Dublin, an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Featuring all of the magical songs from the critically acclaimed film, including the Oscar-winning "Falling Slowly," this achingly beautiful, joyously uplifting show strikes an unforgettable chord in audiences and speaks to the power of music to connect us all.
