Young Dance proudly shares the dancers' hard work in this year's school showcase. Students and their Teaching Artists have created dances underscoring their artistry and the collaborative community that Young Dance fosters.

At Young Dance, each year is guided by a central theme. This season, we're embracing Body as Voice, exploring how dance can empower individuals to take agency and find their voice, enabling them to speak up for themselves and others. How can dance be a tool in advocating for our needs and our community? How does the confidence we gain in dance translate to other aspects of our lives? See these ideas in action as Young Dance presents their annual school showcase at the Luminary Arts Center.

GRAMMY® and Emmy Award-winning baritone Reginald Smith, Jr (Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera) and tenor Chaz’men Williams-Ali (English National Opera, Dutch National Opera, Washington National Opera) will curate and perform an evening of gospel music with Joseph Li (Minnesota Opera VP, Artistic) at the piano.
