In just a week and a half I open my new show Berlin to Rügen at the May 21-24 and I say not in jest that having YOU there would mean the world.
The last show I did, called As Above So Below, was a deeply rewarding ride, I believe as much for audiences as it was for myself. It also presented, because it was, as the most personal project I’d ever done. But every show I make is the most personal project I’ve ever done. This show is no exception. So now that I’ve made it past “the play where it looked like I’m drowning” I’d love to have you join me in “the play where it looks like I’m riding a bittersweet train”.
It’s May, the guise of eternal winter is gone, and the sun is shining. It brings a wee smile to the face and a whimsical skip to the step.
And then a new headline appears. Some fresh terror. Some new stupid unholy blasphemy.
It’s easier/harder than ever to just stay in, watch our content, and put on the nightcap before we wake up and do it all again.
I want to invite you to disrupt that routine for one night and join me in a dim theater. This past year, I’ve found so much joy in creating/watching stories with others in community. It’s a warm safe feeling in a bitter and volatile world.

Berlin to Rügen opens next week. It’s a four-part episodic about love, loss, hope, fear, dancing, falling, getting up, letting go, and holding on. It’s like Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood for the modern world, and it’s filled to the brim with every bit of my little heart.
