Meet your court 👑 the Ghost of King Hamlet and Fortinbras.

Playing the Ghost of King Hamlet, the Grave Digger, and a player is Eric Eichenlaub. This is his third appearance for a Gray Mallard show, previously playing Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing and Sir Toby in Twelfth Night. We are thrilled to have him on for this season.

Henry Zavos is debuting on our stage as Fortinbras, the prince of Norway, Marcellus and is part of the players. We have been impressed with his stage presence as he has gracefully developed four distinct characters.

Meet your court 👑 Rosencrantz and Guildenstern

Playing Rosencrantz is Elisheva Scheuer, making her Gray Mallard debut this summer. We’re so excited to welcome her to the company and to Denmark’s most famously inseparable duo.

Alongside her as Guildenstern is Bradley Johnson, also joining us for the first time. A perfect match for the duo, they’re a wonderful addition to this summer’s Hamlet, and we’re thrilled to have him.

Meet your court 👑 Ophelia, Polonius, and Laertes

Stepping into the role of Ophelia for the first time with us is Madeleine McKenney. She has made her debut role of Hamlet’s love interest her own, putting on an incredible performance every night.

Back again for their third season is Cooper Lajeunesse as Laertes, Ophelia’s fiery brother (watch out for the sparks they bring to Act V). Last season in Much Ado About Nothing, they played Conrade and Friar Francis, and in Romeo and Juliet, they played Mercutio.

A familiar face at Gray Mallard, Tony Larkin takes on Polonius, chief counselor and father to Ophelia and Laertes. Having previously played Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing and Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet, Tony brings a wealth of experience to the role, and it shows in every scene.

Meet your court 👑 The King and Queen of Denmark

Stepping into the role of King Claudius, the main antagonist in this tragedy, is Andy Baldeschwiler. He is back on our stage after playing Don Pedro in last year’s production of Much Ado About Nothing.

Joining us for the first time is Monica E. Scott as Queen Gertrude, Hamlet’s mother, caught between her husband and her son. Though this is her Gray Mallard debut, she is bringing a fresh energy to the role and our cast.

We couldn’t imagine this production without either of these royals. Come see them and the rest of the cast tomorrow night at 7 or Sunday at 6:30! ✨

Meet your court 👑

Rayyan Khan takes on Hamlet for this summer’s production. Previously with the Gray Mallard Theater Co., Khan played Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Paris in Romeo and Juliet. We are thrilled to have him back for a third season.

Playing Hamlet’s loyal confidant, Horatio, is Eva Gemlo. This is her first production with us and we are so glad she’s joined the company.

Come see Rayyan and Eva bring Denmark to life. 🎭 Hamlet runs now through August 2 at Sociable Cider Werks — free, outdoors, and open to all. Bring a chair, grab a cider, and join the court.
