Meet Adrian Lowe, our Fashion Installation Coordinator on the Bloomington Street Arts Festival committee!

Adrian helps bring BSAF to life by coming up with Ideas for the fashion showcase and the assisting with upcomng associated activities.

In retrospect, it feels like I’ve been learning to paint backwards. The homie Maggie Hannelore Fae hit me up to paint murals to raise money after the murder of George Floyd. At that time I had never seriously picked up a brush, but there we were, out painting every day from June to October.

6 years ago today I tried downscaling and working on canvas, the first slide shows the first two paintings I completed.

I’m proud of the progress and strives taken to improve and I hope I inspire people to step out of their comfort zones.

These rugs offer a wide range of possibilities and can be used for many different things! I’ve personally used mine as a blanket while painting by the lake, a tablecloth, a couch throw, and even a wall decoration.
