There are 3 traditions that we do right before each and every LTYM show starts — we love a good tradition, or three! The first is we take a producer photo in front of the full theater! A moment to take in the cast, the audience, and the beautiful space we’re in is a little reminder of our why — the reason we do this stunning work that we’re so very lucky to call ours!

As the Riverview fills and the clock ticks closer to the show start time, the room is absolutely buzzing with story loving energy, the best + most supportive audience, and a cast of 12 (or 13!) women seeing their people, watching the montage, taking it all in — the music, the photos on the big screen, their castmates, and all that magical goodness that is a LTYM show night!

Seeing the Riverview start to fill up is one of our favorite moments of the night! The montage of cast photos is up on the big screen, music is playing, and our amazing LTYM 700 person audience starts to fill in the seats, popcorn, and program in hand. As we start to hear their excited buzz fill the room, our hearts overflow knowing the magic of this one-of-a-kind show is about to start! There’s nothing like this show and this audience!

Our ushers — for this show it was two out of three of my (Galit’s) kids! — hand you your program and welcome you in! They’ve been ushering since almost the very beginning of LTYM and have grown up alongside the show — over a decade, almost all 20 shows, and 1,000s and 1,000s (and 1,000s!) of programs + “Welcome to the show!”s ❤️🖤🤍

Once you’ve seen our perfect marquee and walked through the iconic Riverview doors, there’s so much to do before taking your seat for the show! The famous Riverview popcorn to the left, the all important bathrooms to the right, and straight ahead: a look at our amazing sponsors — local businesses who support women, storytelling, storytellers, and us! Just the best! ❤️🖤🤍
