Finding all kinds of groovy things in the giant “Anti-Whirl” collaboration from last weekend-
I’m going to mount a lot of the black velour on canvases and continue painting on them. I’ve sprayed fixative over the tempera paint to hopefully lock it down.
Here’s just a small portion of what we (at least 100 people who came to play over 2 days) did with 12 gallons of tempera paint using beach buckets with utensils, sq**rt guns and beverage pouches.

First image: Galactic Goddess - approximately 4’x5’
Next three images are in series and I’m thinking a 5-panel triptych would be cool. 5’x10’
Haven’t got a name for it yet but it feels like a cool aquarium.
I’m mostly going to just kick up the contrast by intensifying the background a bit, as this section of velour wasn’t as saturated a black as the rest of it.
