Mothers watching is a drawing I created to represent the repercussions of mistreatment of Mother Natures children. The mother is standing as a lone tree on the left side of the page, on her ribcage is a sigil with the meaning ‘I will be okay’. As she overlooks her messengers of the divine feminine the three praying mantis before her. The mantis warn of tragedy as trees twist and morph with screaming faces. Faced of those who didn’t care to preserve the earth. Notice there are no healthy leaves, no real signs of life. Even the leaves are twisted and dead on the branches. The only remaining living are the mantis and the turkey tail mushrooms growing along the tree trunk. This has not yet come to pass but is a warning, the seeing eye sigil sees all, and the protection sigils warn to protect all things good and natural.
As we are facing the first ever mass extinction caused by a single species. Please be aware of your individual impact on the environment. Even the smallest change can bring about the most impactful differences for our future.
