A peaceful overnight shift with the kiln. Hanging around 2150 degrees until 6am.

We got the kiln loaded today. I have it preheating tonight. These pots will be glowing red hot by my next shift tomorrow night!

We unloaded the kiln yesterday at for Joe Cole’s woodfire workshop!( )
We had an amazing crew, so many nice pots, and overall fun learning experience for all! Clay is the way!

It was a great firing! We are bringing all new pots up to the gallery, pricing and rearranging for the weekend! Stop and see what’s new!

This work is all handcarved porcelain made by The only glaze applied is on the blue inside of the pots and on the handles of the mugs. The rest of the surface detail is created from the wood ash and flashing from the flames in the woodkiln. Every piece is truly one of a kind!

✨We have a workshop available this Friday, June 27th 6pm-8pm!✨ Offering adult beginner wheel-throwing class. Only 4 spots available. Join us for a fun couples Clay date or get a few friends together. Our basement studio is a cool get away from the heat.

Instructor, will teach you the basics of centering and throwing clay on the wheel.
