Gold laser engraving on these stainless NT Cutter knives for Harrison Davis finished with their logo and business name.

Took some testing to dial in that gold, but the result was worth it. Proud to put another local business’s name on the tools they use every day.

Small-business lesson of the week:

Do not engrave five bridesmaid compacts at once while sitting in Discord with your buddies and laughing your ass off. 😂

Apparently, copying and pasting a misspelled design five times does not fix the spelling. It just creates five identical mistakes.

The laser performed flawlessly. The operator did not. 🤦‍♂️

I laughed, accepted full responsibility for all five casualties, ordered replacements with next-day shipping, and redid every one correctly.

Mistakes happen. Quality control matters. And Discord is now banned during production… probably.

Update: I found the floor. 😂

The shop is finally back under control—at least by working-shop standards. It probably won’t stay this clean for long, but that’s the point. Clean benches just mean it’s time to make them dirty again.

Now, back to coating and engraving. 🛠️
