Holy cow, Milwaukie.

I know we’re not supposed to brag about charitable acts (side note: can we please normalize celebrating charitable acts?), but here we go:

You beautiful people really stepped up. At the No Kings rally, we live printed over 120 t-shirts in 3 hours and, because of your donations, raised a whopping $1,700 for (plus $100 to because I sometimes swap the I and the P and accidentally promised money to that wonderful organization as well - no regrets).

Many thanks to all of you who came through and especially the following:
- my co-printer, the inkmaster general
- who wrangled the crowd and the tees and is the talented graphic designer behind the No Kings Goose shirt
- who designed the RESIST! frog design
- for taking pics and always getting my good angles

This mysterious creature is currently breaking the internet on the local page. We’ve got all the Messie swag you could ask for.

The creator is remaining anonymous for the moment, so we will donate the proceeds to the Milwaukie academy of the arts to support future artists. We will try to contact the sculptor for his/her blessing.

Hey neighbors. We’re closed today, in solidarity with the general strike. I’ll be honest: it’s not a HUGE sacrifice for Chris or myself (or Ally, who is happy to have a day off). Our store is tiny and doesn’t cost much to operate. We do, however, hope you’ll support our local artists in whatever way you can, today and forever.

We do have small-business-friends who can’t afford to close and we do think you should snag some cash from the local credit union and spend it at your favorite non-corporate shop. Or I can loan you ten bucks and you can pay me back next week. Text me.

Anybody reading this who thinks that ICE is operating in a way that is normal and cool, I beg of you to please do the bare minimum of research about what “illegal” and “unconstitutional” looks like. And not like “random guy on YouTube” research… like, “listen to a person who studies law, poli-sci, or ethics”-type research would be great.

Since zombies don’t fret over rain, come hell AND high water the zombie march is still on tomorrow. Meet us at the store tomorrow from 1-4 to zomb-ify your face and decorate a complimentary umbrella. Milwaukie’s finest undead will rise at 4:15 and march the streets.
