Rising Phoenix Theater The love of live theater is the driving force behind the Rising Phoenix Theater. Currently, RPT is a vagabond theater with no permanent home.

Founded by Artistic Director, Susan Scovil in June, 2017, RPT offers a variety of theatrical experiences. With the dual goal of entertaining our audiences and of providing local actors with satisfying work and with the opportunity for learning and growing as actors, Susan brings the combination of her love of collaboration and of the creative process to each production. Last performance of ALMOST, MAINE tonight. Set strike tomorrow. If you lent us a tree and you can pick it up, it will be ready to go at 1:00 tomorrow. If you can’t pick it up then, send a message so we can coordinate. Thanks again to all the tree lenders! Our Maine forest looked great!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Rising Phoenix Theater will continue performing Almost, Maine Friday and Saturday, March 13 and 14 at 7:30 as planned. The house is large, and seats are spaced much more than usual. Also, there is space for people to sit on their own, if they wish. We would love to give everyone a respite from the world with a visit to Maine, but we also encourage our audience to do what is best for their health. Come if you can, and take care.

We are still scheduled to do three more shows- Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 unless official sources recommend cancellation of public events. Let us take your mind off of unpleasantness for awhile!
