Cream puffs. The Giant Slide. Way too much food on a stick. The rides. And, of course, the animals.

We love a trip to the Wisconsin State Fair, and this year, our visit came with an exciting reason to look a little closer at Agriculture Village.

Zimmerman Architectural Studios, in partnership with GH2 Architects LLC and Harwood Engineering, has been selected to design a new agricultural facility at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

The new facility will:
• Increase animal capacity
• Improve animal and pedestrian circulation
• Strengthen biosecurity
• Provide dedicated spaces for showrings, educational displays and agricultural programming
• Support year-round events beyond the “Best 11 Days of Summer”

While at the Fair, our team had the opportunity to explore the existing facilities firsthand and experience the energy of Agriculture Village - including attending the Livestock Auction. It was a great reminder of the traditions, people and animals that make this part of the Fair so special; and what makes designing its next chapter such a meaningful opportunity.

A meaningful milestone for Seton Catholic Schools and the Milwaukee community.

The ribbon cutting at St. Rafael the Archangel and Prince of Peace Schools marks the first new parish Catholic school buildings in Milwaukee in nearly 60 years.

With space for 500 students at each school, these new facilities create a foundation for learning, faith education and community, strengthening these schools as anchors in their neighborhoods for generations of students.

Now, the doors are ready to open and welcome students back for a successful school year.

The spaces where healing takes place have the power to shape the patient experience, offering comfort, connection, and hope when it matters most.

For more than 30 years, SSM Health Cancer Care has been the only accredited cancer center serving patients across 29 Wisconsin counties. With Phase 1 of the Cancer Center expansion now complete, a new chapter of patient-centered care begins in Fond du Lac. Expanded treatment areas, increased pharmacy capacity, abundant natural light, and a welcoming new entrance have been thoughtfully designed to support patients and their loved ones throughout every step of their journey.

When design begins with compassion, it can become part of the healing process.

Nearly 40 years ago, Lisa Jansen joined Zimmerman Architectural Studios as an interior designer. Today, she's being honored as The Daily Reporter's 2026 Top Women in Construction Legacy Leader of the Year.

From designer to Vice President, Principal, Director of Interior Design, and shareholder, Lisa has led design on some of Wisconsin's most meaningful healthcare, education, and civic projects, earning recognition from ASID and IIDA along the way. Beyond the portfolio, she has built a design team known for collaboration and accountability, mentored countless designers and students throughout her career, and given her time to the community — all while preparing the studio's next chapter of leadership.

What started as a conversation over a beverage has led to a whole new vision for Molson Coors' Milwaukee headquarters — and we're just getting started.

Zimmerman was the selected design firm to lead the renovation of Building 66 and Building 66A — 294,000 SF, eight floors including the lobby, right in the heart of Milwaukee. Our "Moments" concept is the design framework that gives each floor its own story, drawn from the people, places, and culture that define this iconic beverage brand. The result: a workplace that puts people first. Dynamic, inspiring, and built for the way Molson Coors works today.

Eight floors. Eight Moments. So much more design to come.

We designed the original building that's now home to WCTC's Applied AI Lab, and planned the structure to support a future second-story addition from day one. Seeing that long-term vision come to life at today's groundbreaking is incredibly rewarding.

Just as notable is how many organizations rallied around this project - generous foundations, regional businesses and WCTC's own students, all investing in the same vision. That kind of collective commitment to technical education says a lot about this community, and what it means for Wisconsin's next generation of AI and data talent.

From here, we're working side-by-side with Corporate Contractors Inc. (CCI) leading construction and Harwood Engineering leading the engineering work. We'll see you in spring 2027!
